City of Lakewood Ward One Beautification Project

In 2021, Ward 1 along Lakewood’s West Colfax corridor was awarded money for use on beautification projects to improve neighborhood conditions. Potential projects include murals, sculptures, bus shelter improvements, streetscape improvements, benches and other.

40 West Arts and the City of Lakewood would like to recognize the volunteer Ward 1 Beautification Art Selection Committee. These residents have committed their time and energy to advocate for and choose art projects on behalf of all residents of Ward 1.

We are grateful for the time and efforts of this volunteer committee. To date, all executed projects have been chosen exclusively by this committee (with the City and 40 West Arts acting as administrators on art projects).
